Description
Ginger, derived from the root of the herb Zingiber officinale, is knobby shaped and resembles a deer’s antler. Available ground, it has a light brown color. With its pungent, aromatic and spicy flavor, Ginger is used in gingerbread, pies, cakes, biscuits, cookies, pickles, puddings, sauces and jams. Also great in meat dishes.
